Of all the strikers to have scored over 10 Premier League goals, the one who currently has the best goals-to-minute ratio is Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.
At just 20 years old, the Brazilian international has enjoyed a blistering start to his Manchester City and Premier League career as he boasts an impressive ratio of one goal every 88.82 minutes, which sees him top the list of prolific goalscorers.
We take a look at the other strikers of Premier League seasons past and present to see how they compare with Man City's star...
1. Gabriel Jesus, GOALS: 11, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 88.82
Unsurprisingly, Gabriel Jesus tops the current standings. This may have something to do with the short time in which he has played in the Premier League and so his ratio will be hard to keep up. Nevertheless his current ratio of one goal every 88.82 minutes is incredibly impressive.
2. Sergio Aguero, GOALS: 127, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 108.44
Gabriel Jesus' strike partner is second on the all-time list. He takes, on average, 20 minutes more than his team-mate to find the back of the net, but his current tally of 127 goals makes his second place standing all the more impressive.
3. Kelechi Iheanacho, GOALS: 12, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 113.92
To see Iheanacho's name so high up on the list may surprise a few people, but his impressive ratio is due to his uncanny ability to score from the bench from Manchester City. Before his summer move to Leicester, the Nigerian striker sat above Aguero in the table, but this season he has seen his ratio drop, and that will probably continue as he is still waiting for his first Premier League goal for the Foxes.
4. Harry Kane, GOALS: 80, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 119.53
Currently the most prolific English striker in Premier League history, Harry Kane looks destined to soon be joining the elite strikers in the top ten who have scored over 100 goals. With two Premier League Golden Boots under his belt already, if the 24-year-old keeps up his current rate of scoring, he will dethrone Alan Shearer as the all-time top scorer (260 goals) within his next 240 league appearances.
5. Thierry Henry, GOALS: 175, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 121.79
The Frenchman is the highest scoring player in the top ten, which makes his ratio even more impressive. The current strikers on the list will do very well to keep up with the rate of goals from Arsenal's legendary goalscorer.
6. Adam Le Fondre, GOALS: 12, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 124.33
Certainly the most surprising name on the list, Le Fondre scored his 12 Premier League goals whilst at Reading during the 2012-13 campaign. Unfortunately, his impressive goalscoring rate wasn't enough to save the Royals from relegation. He now plays for Bolton in the Championship.
7. Ruud van Nistelrooy, GOALS: 95, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 128.19
The Dutch striker falls just short of the 100-goal mark in the Premier League, but can still boast an impressive goalscoring rate from his successful spell at Manchester United.
8. Javier Hernandez, GOALS: 39, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 134.03
The Mexican poacher scored a hatful of goals from the bench for Manchester United and was praised by many for his clinical nature in front of goal during his time at Old Trafford. His ratio could suffer, however, following his summer move to West Ham, especially if Slaven Bilic continues to deploy the striker in the unfamiliar position on the left wing.
9. Luis Suarez, GOALS: 69, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 138.8
The Uruguayan striker is well known for his clinical abilities and demonstrated them perfectly during his time at Liverpool. His haul of 31 goals in the 2013-14 season earned him a move to Barcelona, where he has since carried on his lethal goalscoring form.
10. Robin van Persie, GOALS: 144, MINUTES-PER-GOAL: 139.69
The third player on the list to be able to boast over 100 goals, the Dutch striker started his Premier League career at Arsenal, before making the move to Manchester United. Van Persie picked up consecutive Premier League Golden Boot awards in 2011-2012 and 2012-13, one with each of the aforementioned clubs.
