The six teams that still have something to play for in LaLiga

Real Betis (59 points)

Whilst Betis have already made certain of a Europa League place, they will attempt to avoid having to play in the qualifying rounds in the final weeks of the season. With 59 points, things are very much in their hands, leading Getafe by seven points with just six left to play for, only Sevilla (if they win their re-arranged game against Real Madrid) and Villarreal can prevent Joaquin & Co from proceeding directly to the Group Stage.

Villarreal (57 points)

As with Betis, the 'Yellow Submarine' are battling to ensure direct advancement to the Europa League Group Stage. Villarreal trail Betis by three points having played one fewer game, though that game is against Barcelona at Camp Nou, with the Catalans still to be beaten in LaLiga this season. Villarreal lead Getafe by five points, but will be keeping a close eye on how Sevilla get on against Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Getafe (52 points)

The Madrid-based side claimed a vital victory over Las Palmas at the weekend, but European qualification is out of their hands. If Sevilla beat Real Madrid on Wednesday night it is they who will hold all the cards in the race for the third Europa League spot, though Getafe's run-in looks more forgiving.

Sevilla (51 points)

In a lot of ways, Sevilla's European hopes hang on their clash with Real Madrid. If the Andalusians manage to claim victory, they will move one step closer to the Europa League places and could even remain in with a shout of avoiding the qualifying stage. However, that will also depend on how Getafe fair, whilst they could also be leapfrogged by other sides.

Girona (48 points)

Defeat against Eibar practically ended Girona's hopes of securing European football next season. Despite their wobble in recent weeks, it remains mathematically possible, though that will change if Sevilla shock Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Eibar (47 points)

Another team who have been let down by a limp end to the campaign. Eibar need a miracle to claim a European spot, a victory for either Sevilla or Getafe will end their hopes completely.
