There are still three months of the season left until domestic football makes way for the World Cup and there are a handful of sides looking to make every second count as they swashbuckle their way to the top of the goalscoring charts.
Only four clubs have managed to hit a century of goals in all competitions since the start of the campaign. PSG became the first side to do so when they hit a sorry Dijon side for eight in January.
So far this season, the Parisian side has scored 132 goals in 40 games, a figure that is made all the more impressive when you compare Manchester City, who boast the second best stats having scored 111 times in 42 games.
Until recently, the duo were the only two teams to have achieved the feat, but of late they have been joined at the party by Real Madrid and Liverpool. The victory for 'Los Blancos' over Alaves means they have now scored the same amount of goals as Liverpool (103) but have needed more games to reach the figure (43 to Liverpool's 40). The 'Reds' once again showed their ruthlessness at the weekend by sweeping West Ham aside 4-1.
The next side to reach the milestone looks set to be Barcelona, who currently sit on 98 goals from 42 games after they hit Catalan rivals Girona for six on Saturday.
