Construction at White Hart Lane is ongoing as Spurs' former home is being redeveloped into a 62,000-seater stadium and the £850million project is approaching the final stages of completion.
One of the main features of redesign is the innovative retractable pitch, which has begun to undergo testing this weekend. The system has been designed and build by SCX, an engineering company based in Sheffield.
The pitch will be seated an artificial surface that can be scaled back to host other events including NFL games and concerts, in addition to regular football matches. The whole system is expected to take just 25 minutes to retract in total.

Meanwhile, the roof at the new stadium is in the process of going in, although with a completion date still unconfirmed, Spurs may face the prospect of playing their opening few matches away from home next season.
Chairman Daniel Levy told 'Sky Sports': ''As you all head off for the summer period we shall be working hard on the final stages of the new stadium.''
''With a project of this scale there are always challenges and unknowns, but contractors, with a workforce approaching 3,000, are working around the clock. We shall give a further stadium update, including the dates for these events, as completion times become more certain.''
