It comes as little surprise that the Egyptian has won the prize again, having already won the PFA's iteration of the award, with many also tipping him to win the Player of the Season award too.
The Liverpool forward scored six goals in March, notching against Newcastle early in the month before banging in four against Watford at Anfield on the 17th. He then matched Didier Drogba's record goal tally for an African player in one season, when he took his number for the season to 29 with a goal against Crystal Palace.
This is Salah's third Player of the Month award of the season, and his second in a row, after he won the prize in February and November. He is only the sixth player in history to win two on the bounce, joining Robbie Fowler, Dennis Bergkamp, Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy.
The forward came out ahead of Son Heung-min, Romelu Lukaku, David Silva and Cenk Tosun to win the prize.
Meanwhile, Sean Dyche won the Manager of the Month prize after Burnley won all three of their games in March to push on for a Europa League qualification spot.
The Goal of the Month award was picked up by Jamie Vardy, for his strike against West Brom in a 4-1 win, a game in which he scored twice.
