Danny Ings opened the scoring in the first half to keep the 'Reds' hopes of Champions League qualification alive before the Egyptian doubled their advantage in the 72nd minute.
After being played through in the box by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah chipped the ball over opposing goalkeeper Ben Foster with a cool finish to make it 2-0.
It brought up his 31st league goal of the season, bringing him level with Suarez and Ronaldo's best tallies in a phenomenal debut campaign with Liverpool.
