Guardiola and Mourinho are old friends from their time in Spain in charge of Barcelona and Real Madrid, respectively. The pair will clash on the touchline once again in the Manchester derby that could all but decide the Premier League title.
In the news conference ahead of the fixture, Guardiola was asked if he was as obsessed with silverware as the Portuguese manager, to which he answered: "Definitely. In that we are twins. He [Mourinho] wants to win trophies, I want to win trophies."
He also likened himself to other Premier League managers: "Antonio Conte as well and Jurgen [Klopp] and Mauricio [Pochettino]," he added. "I never criticise my colleagues the way they play. Every manager plays the way they play."
