The Gunners refused to sell Sanchez after failing to find a replacement, but Guardiola has since remained keen on the forward. After a goalless draw at Crystal Palace, the Spaniard was asked if injuries to Gabriel Jesus and Kevin de Bruyne would spark a move for the Arsenal man.
"I don't know (what's going to happen) but he's a player of Arsenal and I think he is going stay there," Guardiola said. The Chilean was reportedly the subject of a rift with other Arsenal players ahead of the January transfer window, but Guardiola refused to shine light on his future.
"There is some time to ask me that but I have a lot of things to think about, because in two days we have another game," the City boss added. "In the internal meetings we are going to decide what is best. But my feeling now is that he's an Arsenal player and he will be."
