Giroud has only scored seven goals in 25 appearances in all competitions for the North London club this season, having played second fiddle to team-mates Alexandre Lacazette and Alexis Sanchez. The Frenchman has also only started once in the Premier League for Wenger's team.
However, the striker's agent Michael Manuello has ruled out big-money moves to Turkey or China: 'He listens, looks and after he will see. Leaving to leave has no use. It has to be coherent and it gives him something more.'
'The clubs in Turkey? That does not interest him. China either. Leaving to earn more money is not what's important in his state of mind.'
Although with the unclear transfer situation surrounding Alexis Sanchez, Giroud may find he falls back into favour with his manager, especially once he returns from a hamstring injury which has sidelined him in recent weeks. This sentiment is shared by his agent: 'He will have playing time at Arsenal, the second part of the season is important, with competitions to play, even if he is only the Europa League.'
Giroud is set to miss tonight's EFL Cup semi-final against Chelsea but could return on Sunday for their Premier League clash against Bournemouth, depending on fitness.
