According to 'Sky Sports News' Manchester City are keeping a close eye on the 17-year-old's progress at Brazilian Serie A club Atletico Paranaense.
The youngster participated in the 2017 U17 FIFA World Cup, and where Brazil finished third after being eliminated at the semi-final stage by England.
Halter has attracted the attention of several European clubs, but Manchester City are tipped to have the greatest interest.
