The Champions League is back this week, and we will get the pleasure of watching two great games. Roma visit Anfield on Tuesday, while Real Madrid will make the trip to the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.
There, in Munich, there is one name that will put fear into the Madrid defence more than any other: Robert Lewandowski.
The Polish forward seems to have Real's measure, and is already preparing to do battle with Zinedine Zidane's side. He has faced Madrid six times in the past, and in these ties he has scored a total of six times.
These are worrying stats for Zinedine Zidane. Furthermore, Lewandowski is in fantastic shape as he approaches the tie. The forward has scored 39 goals this season, for a Bayern side that have eased to a domestic title with plenty of time to spare.
Furthermore, as reported by 'AS', the Polish international has made it clear that he is ready for Real. Speaking with the outlet, he sent a message to the Spanish side. "I'm feeling good," he stated. "The team are perfect."
It musn't be forgotten that Lewandowski is reportedly one of Real's top targets this summer, however when they come up against him on Tuesday, they will hope that the Bayern forward doesn't demonstrate the form that has garnered their interest over the season.
