Is N'Golo Kante France's most important player? Domenech certainly thinks so. The experienced boss has revealed his huge admiration for the player, saying that he would do anything to sign him if he were in charge of a big club.
"You could say that there are two different France teams. One when Kante plays and one when he isn't there," Domenech told 'GOAL'. "Perhaps you don't see the work he does during a game but if you focus on him, you can see all the thingss he does to help the other players.
"He is a talisman, he makes the players around him better. If I were in charge of a big club, he would be the first player I would sign.
"I think that Didier Deschamps knows the impact Kante can have, he's going to build his team around him, just as Chelsea and Leicester did."
Kante was not called up by France for their friendlies against Wales and Germany, with the 26-year-old having only just returned from a hamstring problem sustained during the last international break.
The 20-time France international has won the Premier League title in each of the last two seasons and has done so with two different clubs: Leicester (2015/16) and Chelsea (2016/17).
