Wojciech Szczesny has agreed a deal in principle to sign for the Italian Champions. The goalkeeper will join the Serie A outfit on a long term contract and earn close to £70,000 a week.
With Arsène Wenger ready to start the 2017/2018 campaign with Petr Cech and David Ospina, Szczesny is ready to permanently leave the club he joined in 2009.
Speaking in May, Szczesny said: “I want to try to keep going up, with my quality and with my decisions that I make. I am 27, the best I have ever been, I still have room to improve and I want to make sure that room doesn’t stay empty.”
The Polish international will provide back-up for Gianluigi Buffon.
