"I understand the suffering Bale is going through, but he won three Champions Leagues, I didn't. He's done great things with Madrid. The advice I have for him is to be very patient with himself because he already has pressure from the press, the fans, and his teammates... His teammates don't pressure him as such, they encourage him, but when you're under pressure and you see them training... It's hard, it's another kind of pressure," Kaká revealed in an interview with 'Marca.'
The Brazilian then went into more depth: "So, if you put pressure on yourself on top of all of that, it's even harder. If he can, he should avoid that. Nobody is exempt from getting injured. It can happen to any one of us. But when you get injured a lot you start to have doubts about your abilities and you start to turn against yourself. The greatest enemy of an injured player is themself."
Kaká then reflected on his rough period when he suffered on the sidelines: "I spent many years looking for the origin of my injuries and I ended up going a bit mad. I wanted to know the cause and I never found out. I ended up training like a madman. I trained a lot. I trained with the club, I then trained at home always hoping to improve and get rid of the pain... I couldn't understand why my body was sending me signs that things weren't ok."
The ex-Madrid man took the opportunity to thank the Real fans for their support and Florentino Perez for his confidence: "After all the expectations, I wasn't the player that they were hoping to see, I would've liked for things to have gone differently."
Kaka played a total of 120 games for Real Madrid, finding the net 29 times. Despite his underwhelming tally, the Brazilian will always be remembered as one of the great Galacticos to have graced the club.
