Madrid want to emerge victorious in the Club World Cup final against Gremio and they are their preparations are well underway for Saturday's clash in Abu Dhabi.
The Real Madrid talisman, who played a key role during the semi-final victory over Al Jazira, scoring the equaliser to become the top scorer in Club World Cup history with six goals in his locker.
For Ronaldo, part of the reason he was able to achieve the record was because of the team he is playing for: "I'm really proud, mainly for the journey I'm making in football, and at Real Madrid.
"Winning my fifth Ballon d'Or and now becoming the highest goalscorer in the Club World Cup gives me even more motivation to carry on working with happiness and making sacrifices," added the 32-year-old.
Finally, the Portuguese striker acknowledged his team-mates: "I need to thank by team-mates as well, because without them it would be impossible to win. But the truth is that I'm very happy.
"I'm going to continue fighting and making my fans happy, all the people who follow Cristiano. I am very happy," he concluded.
