"I'm very grateful to everyone for my debut, now I just need to keep learning one step at a time, I'm happy. I've been very calm because the team have really helped me bed in," the Colombian told 'Gol' just minutes after the game, which ended in a 2-0 win for Barca.
The defender was keen to point out one player in particular who had helped make his switch from Palmeiras a straightforward one. "Pique is someone I have a lot of time for, we talk a lot and I always ask him for advice. Now I need to keep working," added the 23-year-old.
Despite his delight as being handed his debut, Mina admitted that it same as something of a surprise, saying: "I hadn't even warmed up and when they called me over I felt very happy, when I touched the ball for the first time I could sense the confidence of my team-mates, who have all really helped me bed in."
Finally, Mina was in no doubt as to what his objectives are going forward. "We are going to try to win the cup, it's our fifth final in a row. It will be difficult to overcome Sevilla but we'll do our jobs and try to win," he concluded.
