Gabriel Jesus may miss up to two months after picking up an injury in Manchester City's 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace, Pep Guardiola has said.
The Brazilian striker limped off in tears at Selhurst Park after hurting his left knee and Sergio Aguero came on as a replacement.
Guardiola confirmed the amount of time Jesus will miss in 2018 and he is more hopeful for De Bruyne, who was carried off on a stretcher.
"I think Gabriel will be out for a little more than a month and Kevin we will see tomorrow if it is just a kick or something else," said Guardiola.
"You have to admire the physicality of the Premier League, but the referees need to protect the players, that is all I ask."
