The Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) have revealed their nominees for the Players' Player of the Year award, with Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne chief among them.
Three Manchester City players make the shortlist, with David Silva and Leroy Sane joining De Bruyne to represent the Premier League leaders on the list.
Golden Boot contenders Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Tottenham striker Harry Kane, who have scored of 29 and 25 league goals respectively, are also nominated.
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea completes the list.
De Bruyne and Salah are both widely regarded as favourites for the prize. De Bruyne has been a midfield dynamo for City this season, providing 20 assists as well as 11 goals for his side.
Salah meanwhile has scored a remarkable 39 goals this season, in addition to 11 assists.
The winner of the award, voted for by PFA members, will be announced at a ceremony at London's Grosvenor House on 22 April.
