Following the incident that took place around the 44th minute of Manchester United's home game against Bournemouth, Ibrahimovic has been charged with a three-game ban.
The suspension is the standard penalty for violent conduct, which the Swede has admitted to.
He will miss fixtures against Chelsea (FA Cup), Middlesbrough (Premier League) and West Brom (Premier League).
