Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been charged with misconduct by the Football Association after his dismissal in Wednesday's match with Swansea City.
The incident took place in th 43rd minute when referee Neil Swarbrick decided to give Conte his marching orders after the Italian was seen yelling in the face of fourth official Lee Mason.
"The problem is I was frustrated because the opponents were wasting time. I tried to tell this to the fourth official not only once but a few times," the Italian said after the game.
"But I have apologised because I did the wrong thing. I have been in to see them after the game. It’s right to speak and apologise with them. I don’t know if it was fair [to be sent off] but we have to respect this decision."
The Blues boss has until 6pm on 5 December to respond to the charge.
