The season may have just kicked off, but Pep Guardiola's men have landed in Spain where they will play a friendly against Girona on Tuesday afternoon.

Ilkay Gundogan, who has been injured for eight months, could make his long awaited return in the friendly and there is a chance for summer signing Benjamin Mendy to make his debut for the club.
But why are City choosing to do another training camp at such an unusual time? Director of football Txiki Begiristain explains:
"This trip is a great opportunity for Pep to work with his full squad in an intensive training camp," he said.
"We have had some players away on international duty this summer, which means Pep hasn't had the chance to work for long with the whole squad."
City will return on Thursday, before they face Everton in their second Premier League fixture at the Etihad four days later.
