The story goes that in 1903 the Italian giants had a major problem... their pink home shirts kept fading in the wash! Step forward John Savage, an Englishman who was playing for Juve, who got in touch with a friend back home who was a fan of none other than Notts County, for whom Savage had played before moving to Italy.
The friend sent replacement shirts out to the Italian side, causing the 'Old Lady' to adopt their now famous black and white stripes.
The years have certainly been kinder on Juve than they have on County. The English side currently ply their trade in League Two, the fourth division of English football, whicst Juve are on a run of six straight Serie A titles.
As a way of giving something back, Juve marked the opening of their new stdium with a friendly against the Nottingham-based side back in 2011. The game finished 1-1, with Luca Toni and Lee Hughes both finding the net.
