Kylian Mbappe is breaking all sorts of records at an unstoppable rate. The French striker, who is the second-highest player at PSG after Neymar and arrived in the summer from Monaco on a loan-to-buy deal, was named on the shortlist for the 2017 Ballon d'Or.
The striker is already has a guaranteed place in the squad for the France national team and he hasn't even turned 19 yet. At just 18 years old, Mbappe has ticked another achievement off the list in an already impressive career as he becomes the youngest ever player to be a candidate for the Ballon d'Or.
At such a young age he is already competing with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar, Dybala, Luis Suarez...
In fact, there are only two players younger than 23 who made the shortlist compiled by 'France Football'.
But this is not the only record which Mbappe has already managed to achieve in his short career so far. With Monaco last season he scored 18 goals in 18 consecutive games in all competitions, whilst becoming the youngest player in Europe's top five leagues to score at least 14 league goals in one season in the 21st Century.
On top of this, Mbappe became the youngest player to score five goals in one edition of the Champions League.
His latest achievement is being included in the 30 nominees for the Ballon d'Or at just 18 years old. Not bad for a teenager!
